November 19, 2019 | Upcycled Ornament Making @ Solar Fest

Join us at Build San Antonio Green’s 19th annual Solar Fest! The event will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2019, at Hemisfair near Yanaguana Gardens.

Enjoy music, local artisans, a variety of food trucks and engaging activities. Local vendors will share knowledge about how to choose a solar system, home improvements to save energy and money, and available rebates from CPS Energy.

The Office of Historic Preservation will be on hand with salvaged wood from deconstructed and renovated buildings in San Antonio to be used to make upcycled Christmas ornaments! Additionally, Mayor Ron Nirenberg will “pardon” a turkey constructed from salvaged materials from the landfill. Don’t miss it!
