$5.00

Join us for a unique river barge tour on which we’ll showcase the history of San Antonio and the architecture along our iconic River Walk!

The River Walk been central to San Antonio’s identity for the last 80 years. It was originally developed as a linear park and improved in the 1940s as a progressive flood control and beautification project by architect, Robert Hugman. Come see this icon for yourself on this historic barge tour.

Thank you so Go Rio Cruises for donating two barges!

Tuesday, March 31, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, from the barge stop next to IBC Bank.

On Tuesdays, parking is free in city garages. Park at the St Mary’s Garage, 205 E Travis, then walk across the street, through the plaza, and down to the river.

For ADA access, out of St Mary’s Garage, go south on St Mary’s, cross E Houston Street and take a right on E Houston St.  There is a public elevator outside Hotel Valencia. Take that down to the river level and turn right to reach the barge stop.
